Eden Valley Petrified Wood Specimen 2

Eden Valley Petrified Wood is found in multiple locations near Eden, Wyoming. This gorgeous stone was encased in algae 50 million years ago preserving the wood in a casing. Cutting and polishing reveal the wood and colors well preserved with Chalcedony inclusions. This petrified wood shows distinct wood textures and a beautiful look into what the forest looked like millions of years ago! 

Specimen stones are face polished on one side. Making them amazing to add to any agate collectors display or just as a cool display piece around the home or office! Polishing only the one side shows the stone in it’s natural state and a nice polished side to show off the gorgeous interior that cutting and polishing reveal!
